v1.5.8 · Feature release
This release makes insights more actionable, improves the quality of Coach and Growth outputs, and strengthens the data foundation behind sector-aware financial intelligence. No breaking changes. No migration required for existing v1.5.x integrations.

Release overview

v1.5.8 is a feature release focused on making Narrative SDK experiences more useful after onboarding. It adds a snooze flow for Money insights, improves the relevance of Growth opportunities, and strengthens Coach responses when users ask about spending, categories, or data availability. The release also expands the intelligence layer behind the product. Sector knowledge, transaction-level behavioural signals, and research into external support opportunities provide a stronger foundation for personalised recommendations, grant and tax-benefit discovery, and relevant SME support insights. Reliability improvements in Money and Coach help users see the latest available financial data and understand when an answer is limited by unavailable data. Each release moves the SDK toward more context-aware financial guidance for SME platforms: richer data foundations, clearer user controls, and more dependable AI-generated support. Breaking changes: None. Deprecations: None.

Money

Money is more reliable immediately after onboarding. Newly onboarded users are less likely to see an empty or unavailable Money page when fresh metrics already exist. Users can now snooze Money insights when an action is relevant but not right for today. Snoozed items leave the main feed, are retained across refresh cycles, and can resurface later through the prioritisation flow. A dedicated view lets users review and manage snoozed items, giving them more control without permanently dismissing useful recommendations. Insight dismissal also captures optional user reasoning. This gives the product a clearer signal about why an item was not useful, improving the feedback loop for future insight quality.

Coach

Coach gives clearer spending breakdowns by category. Coach also handles partial failures more gracefully. If a tool, model call, context assembly step, or data source is unavailable, responses are designed to explain the limitation, avoid fabrication, and offer a next-best action rather than returning a generic error.

Growth

Growth opportunities are more focused and easier to act on. The generation flow now prioritises a smaller set of higher-quality, evidence-backed opportunities, reducing generic suggestions and helping users concentrate on the most relevant next steps. Opportunity detail content is clearer, with more concise action guidance and improved presentation of impact information. This helps users understand why an opportunity matters and what they can do next.

Sector intelligence and support-opportunity research

Narrative SDK now has a stronger sector-aware knowledge foundation. System-level sector configuration captures benchmarks, category treatment rules, and research topics for priority sectors, so future services can use consistent sector context instead of duplicating assumptions in individual user profiles. A new research service surfaces grants, tax reliefs, public finance programmes, training support, and similar SME support opportunities in the UK and Ireland. Relevant support opportunities can feed into the Money action pipeline as scheme-type insights when enough business context is available. Transaction-level behavioural profiling has also been expanded. The SDK can now derive deeper behavioural signals from detailed transaction data, improving the context available for coaching and insight generation.

Compatibility

This release remains compatible with existing v1.5.x integrations. No partner migration is required for standard embedded integrations.
