v1.5.12 · Feature release
This release adds same-currency multi-account banking and makes Coach responses and Money insights more responsive and consistent. No breaking changes. No migration required for existing v1.5.x integrations.

Release overview

v1.5.12 broadens the connected banking foundation behind Narrative SDK. Users can now connect multiple bank accounts in the same currency, with Money, transaction views, and Coach reasoning built around the combined financial picture rather than a single account. The release also improves AI-assisted experiences in Coach and Money. Coach uses a faster response path for common questions while preserving the existing chat contracts, and Money insights have stronger generation consistency without changing the user-facing surface. This release keeps the current single-currency scope explicit. Multi-currency bank account support remains outside this release. Breaking changes: None. Deprecations: None in the public integration surface.

Connected bank accounts

Users can now connect more than one bank account when the accounts use the same currency. Settings shows connected accounts and allows users to add or manage accounts from the product experience. When a new account is connected, the SDK starts a data reload so the new account can feed Money, transaction views, and Coach reasoning. Users see processing guidance after connection and receive an email when the new account data is ready. The connection flow also handles common account-state problems more clearly. Duplicate account connections are prevented, and a different-currency account is rejected with a clear user-facing message before its data is saved.

Money

Money now reflects combined data from all connected same-currency accounts. Cash balance, money in, money out, and transaction views use the broader account set instead of relying on one connected account. Internal transfers between a user’s own connected accounts are excluded from income and expense totals, spending ratios, and related recommendations. This helps Money present a cleaner operating view when businesses use separate current, reserve, tax, or savings accounts. AI-generated Money insights now have stronger generation consistency and validation. The user-facing Money interface remains compatible, and generated insights continue to use the same recommendation and display behaviour.

Coach

Coach is now account-aware across multiple same-currency bank accounts. It can reason over the connected account set and avoid treating internal transfers as business income or spending. Coach responses also use a faster response path for common question types. Existing chat behaviours remain compatible, including streaming responses, saved history, citations, follow-up questions, insight-bound chats, and Money or Growth detail-panel handoffs. For answers that require deeper transaction analysis, Coach keeps the quality-first path so detailed explanations can still include named drivers, currency caveats, and structured transaction reasoning where useful.

Compatibility

This release remains compatible with existing v1.5.x integrations. No partner migration is required for standard embedded integrations. Existing single-account users continue to work as before. Multi-account support applies to same-currency accounts only. Different-currency accounts are not accepted in this release.
