v1.9.0 · Major
v1.9.0 refreshes the Narrative workspace and adds editable invoice reminders in Coach. Users must sign in again after upgrading, and some partner integrations need an update.

Release overview

The refreshed layout keeps business content prominent and conversation history close at hand. Owners can adjust an invoice reminder’s subject and wording before taking it to their email application. Settings gives them a view of their active sign-ins and control over which other sessions remain open. Breaking changes: Users must sign in again after upgrading. Partner integrations that manage Narrative user accounts or branding need changes to work with v1.9.0. Deprecations: None.

Interface and navigation

The refreshed workspace uses clear typography, restrained lime accents and neutral surfaces. Coach answers have a document-like layout, with clear separation between the answer, response controls and composer. The refreshed Narrative wordmark appears in the app navigation and Narrative-branded sign-in page. The expanded sidebar and mobile navigation show up to five conversation titles under Recent. Select a title to open that conversation, or View all to open conversation history. The compact navigation rail provides an All conversations control. Narrative Coach workspace with the expanded sidebar, five Recent conversation titles and View all. Expanded navigation shows Recent conversation titles and View all beside the Coach workspace. Shared financial and detail views use Irish date formatting and a 24-hour clock, while amounts retain their actual currency and invoice precision.

Coach

Invoice reminder drafts have editable Email subject and Email text fields. Copy text copies the subject and body currently shown, so owners can review the wording before pasting it into their email application. Preparing, editing or copying a reminder sends no email and contacts no customer. Edits remain on the open page only; reopening the conversation restores the original draft. The reminder has no recipient-address field. Lower part of a Coach reminder draft with Copy text, the review and sending disclosure, and a demo-record qualification. Coach marks the reminder as a draft for review and leaves sending to the user. On narrow screens, suggested questions stay in one horizontally scrollable row. Users can reveal additional suggestions with touch scrolling, a mouse drag or horizontal scrolling, and reach them with the keyboard.

Settings

Privacy & Security includes Active sessions, with the current session identified separately from other browser and device sessions. Users can select End session for another session or End all other sessions to keep only the current one. Longer lists have a View all control. Settings Active sessions showing This session, other sessions with End session, View all and End all other sessions. Active sessions separates the current sign-in from other sessions and provides session-ending controls. An ended session must sign in again to access the workspace. Ending just one session keeps other browsers and devices signed in. Company names can include letters from different languages and common business punctuation, both during registration and when editing the Business Profile.

Mobile presentation

Coach and Money toolbar controls are centred in their headers, the mobile navigation drawer uses a continuous background, and the AI accuracy reminder remains visible beneath the Coach composer in a compact caption.

Compatibility

v1.9.0 is not fully backwards compatible with existing v1.8 integrations. Users must sign in again after upgrading. Partners whose integrations manage Narrative user accounts or branding need their integration team to update the affected connections for v1.9.0.
